After a motorcycle incident on the 17^th of October, It is with a very heavy heart that the club has to report the passing of Dave Walker, a long-time member, friend and contributor to Cardiff JIF.  Dave had been a member from the very start, a talented bike handler, distinguished mountain biker and a rider/racer across the disciplines. He was visibly passionate about all two wheeled activities and a real advocate of getting out there to ride. As a club member Dave was swift to contribute, possessing both a keen wit and an acute eye. In the last year, his daughters Rosie and Annie were introduced to the club, with Rosie helping to coach and Annie representing JIF in cyclo-cross for the first time. Both are a real credit to him and the family.

Dave will be hugely missed and the club extends its heartfelt condolences to Sarah, Annie and Rosie.
